  • To breathe and get air to the lungs it is necessary to arouse slightly to create tension in muscles to open the airway
  • If you have Sleep Apnea, you begin snoring, then stop breathing for at least 10 seconds (apnea) which temporarily quiets the snoring, after which a large snort is made

  • Swollen adenoids and tonsils that block the airways
